Who am I?

My name is Matthew Ivler! I am a software engineer and data scientist from Orange County, California who is currently residing in Austin, Texas. My goals in life are to create things, understand the world around me, and spend time with the people I love and care about. Currently, I am open to work, and I am looking into how I can use board games and my research skills for the greater good.

Why did I make this website?

This website serves two purposes. First, it gives insight into my works and perspective of the world. Second, it helps me keep track of my works and perspective of the world. I have always made things, but been reluctant to share them. I wanted a place where I could put things out into the world, regardless of if anybody would view them.

Similarly, as I go through this world, I learn, interact with, and believe new concepts and content. I want a place to share the things I’ve learned and the beliefs I’ve developed, and to catalog how my view of the world changes over time.

Though there is a purpose to this website, there is no goal to sharing my works and perspectives. This website is primarily for me to put myself out into the world, and see where that takes me.
