2 Buns

After attending San Diego Comic-Con in July of 2023, I was inspired. A weekend full of comic artists and storytellers made me feel like I too could use art to tell a story. After going to a presentation about using mini-zines as an affordable method for introducing young children to the art of comic book creation, I decided to challenge myself. Could I use an 8-page mini-zine to tell the traditional hero’s journey from start to finish?

The result is 2 Buns, a mini-zine where each page hits a story beat in Dan Harmon’s Story Circle.
